Turn right out of car park and at junction with King Lane turn into bridleway on right hand corner, through caravan park. Follow bridleway across the middle Of several fields (may be horses in some) emerge near Horton Church.

left along road to Hawkesbury Church

Turn Waypoint 2
left into gate road opposite Church. At end turn left along road and ride across Ingleston Common. At end of common, follow road to Wickwar.

At Waypoint 3
T-junction turn left onto FAIRLY BUSY ROAD (B4060) UP TO TRAFFIC LIGHTS.
ALTERNATIVE 1
PROCEED STRAIGHT ON, BEARING RIGHT AT 84059. Take the first road on left towards West End.
ALTERNATIVE 2
After turning left onto the FAIRLY BUSY B4060, you may turn right up the entrance to the Church and ride around the Church (by permission of the Rector). Church traffic eg funerals, weddings, takes priority. Please clear any droppings. Tum left onto bridleway and turn left at junction to reach the 84059 (BUSY ROAD). Cross to road opposite to the left. Following the road to West End, at the next road junction bear left along Rag Lane. After Barbers Court Farm, turn left into field bridleway along farm track. Follow track and after a left tum come to a gate. Turn right through the gate and after another gate and a ruined farmhouse, follow the left hand hedge, and go through a gate ahead after bearing left. Carry straight on, through the gate ahead and along a short track between two hedges, Cross the ford and follow the right hand hedge round the next field. Exit onto a farm drive and follow to the right.

At Waypoint 4
the next T-junction, turn right. Pass Newhouse Farm on left and take the next byway to the left. At the crossroads turn left along Tanhouse Lane (over the railway) up Bury Hill and ACROSS WICKWAR ROAD (34060 - BUSY AND FAST).

Enter Waypoint 5
Mapleridge Lane and soon take either:
ALTERNATIVE 1- turn left into bridleway around Ladys Wood. Follow to end, passing bridleway crossroads with gate on left. This section is usually very muddy. Ride on along Mapleridge
ALTERNATIVE 2 - Lane and take the next bridleway on the left. At bridleway crossroads tum right into Vinney Lane.
BOTH - Ride along Vinney Lane back towards Horton. At village turn left and ride back to Village Hall and start point.
